Did you know? Around 52% of educators report high levels of stress, with burnout emerging as a significant challenge in the profession. This stress is not only detrimental to teachers' mental health and well-being but also affects the learning environment for students.
To address this pressing issue, Mundus has joined forces with European partners to launch a transformative new project: “From Burnout to Balance – Supporting Educators’ Wellbeing.”
Kickoff Meeting Held in Croatia
On October 7-8, Mundus’ EU project manager, Iva Perkovic, participated in the kickoff meeting for this 15-month Erasmus+ initiative. The project is spearheaded by GIP FIPAN (France) in collaboration with Mundus (Spain) and Srednja gospodarska škola Križevci (Croatia). Hosted by Srednja gospodarska škola Križevci, the meeting set the stage for a shared vision of supporting educators’ mental health and resilience.
Project Goals and Impact
The project will focus on developing comprehensive support programs for educators through:
- Face-to-face trainings
- Personalized coaching programs
The initiative aims to empower educators with tools and strategies to effectively manage stress, foster resilience, and prevent burnout. These efforts will contribute to a healthier, more balanced teaching environment, ultimately enhancing the quality of education for learners.
A Collaborative Mission for Well-being
This initiative reflects our commitment to creating a culture of balance and support in the field of vocational education and lifelong learning. By addressing burnout, we can significantly improve the lives of educators while promoting better educational outcomes for students.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Srednja gospodarska škola Križevci for their warm hospitality during the kickoff meeting and their dedication to this mission.
