Mundus celebrated a second event in the Canary Islands with VET teachers and professionals to present the project work and the main results

Fuerteventura, Spain – After a successful first multiplier event in Fuerteventura, Mundus hosted a second event on August 16th, attended by 60 VET teachers and professionals from technical schools. The event featured a presentation of the innovative digital tool developed by the Go4VocationalSkills project. This tool allows teachers and administrators to assess students’ skills, generate detailed PDF reports, visualise group data, and customise assessments with various question types.

Following the presentation, a dynamic Discussion & Workshop session tackled key questions such as: How is digitalisation supported at your school? What IT tools do you currently use in the classroom? Does your school assess students’ competencies and readiness for the job market, and if so, how? Which tools are involved in this process?

The event highlighted the tool’s potential to bring innovation into vocational education, equipping teachers with modern digital resources and enhancing students’ skill sets to better meet market demands.

Key Project Results

  • Competency Profiles: Detailed profiles for construction, logistics, and renewable energy technicians.
  • Competence Tests: Substantive input for creating competency tests in the three fields of study.
  • IT Tool: An innovative tool for the automatic assessment of competency levels and their compliance with established profiles.
  • Interpretation Guide: A proposed methodology for interpreting competency test results, including development activities and funding opportunities.
