Last week, from November 25 to 29, 2021, a representation of the Mundus Association visited Italy for the Together for a Better VET project. In Bologna (Italy), partners from Spain, Italy and Poland came together for a 1-day Transnational Partners Meeting and a 4-day Teaching Learning Training Activity.
All project partners met in person, invited by our partner organization IFOM in Bologna.
The main objective of the Together for a Better VET project is to increase the potential to implement projects in the VET sector for each of the partner organizations within the partnership.
During this meeting, different topics were discussed, mainly related to the role of the tutor who supervises the group of students traveling to do their internships in a company, and what skills they must have to carry out a good job of tutoring. The training process prior to departure and arrival of students, good practices and teamwork, soft skills, available tools such as Mindomo.com, sli.do, Google Workspace, and how to make training interesting were also discussed. for the participants.
Work was also done on developing a list of questions for visits to companies or other sites in order to have a common criterion.
Several meetings were held with selected employers and teachers from Italian schools implementing projects under the Erasmus+ program. They provided feedback based on their previous experiences and shared their ideas for improvements to implement in the future.
