Host European Vocational Training students for internships and give your company an international dimension.

What does it mean to be a host company?

The host companies host students for a certain period of time who carry out a professional internship under the guidance of a company manager, guiding them in their training process.

Erasmus+ Programme Initiative

The European Commission, through the Erasmus+ programme funds, provides grants to the best vocational schools in EU member states and other partner countries for their students to undertake work placements in companies across Europe.

Practical aspects of the Erasmus+ internship

  • 100% European funding
  • Zero cost for the host company
  • VET students awarded Erasmus+ scholarships
  • Duration between 4 and 6 weeks
  • Between 30-35 hours per week

How does it work?

Mundus is in charge of the management of Erasmus+ VET placements, acting as an intermediary between the VET school and the companies tutoring the students.

We coordinate all the steps required to ensure the success of the mobility, such as accommodation management, transport, cultural activities and an individualised follow-up during the whole process. In this way, we facilitate the creation of lasting connections between the beneficiaries of these scholarships and local businesses.

Role of MUNDUS

Mundus connects Erasmus+ students with local companies. We take care of the logistical management of the project (mentoring, accommodation, meals, local transport, weekly scholarship for students), assigning our own coordinator who carries out regular evaluations with the student, managing the official documentation and taking out medical assistance, civil liability and accident insurance.

Role of the Host Company

The company is in charge of tutoring the development of the students’ internships, ensuring that they are aligned with their training objectives. Students will carry out tasks related to their professional speciality and will be supervised by a tutor assigned by the company who will plan and monitor the student’s work on a day-to-day basis.
